The historic town of Leerdam is best known for its glass crystal industry, but apart from this there is much more to discover. The enchanting city center has a variety of shops and many historical buildings. With an excellent location along the river the Linge, beautiful hike and bike tours can be made through this unique river landscape.
The mix of culture, nature and history will provide interesting activities for everyone.
Several other interesting cities, such as Utrecht, Gorinchem, Den Bosch and Tiel can be easily reached in 20 minutes by car or by train. The train station of Leerdam is only 100 meter from the hotel.
Parking is free of charge at the parking area on the ‘Stationsweg’ and on the ‘Voorwaartsveld’ (Berenschotterrein). In the center of Leerdam the follow rules apply for (pay) parking:
– Monday to Saturday you need to pay between 9 am and 6 pm. (Friday till 9 pm)
– At the Vrijheidsstraat and the Ambtsplein the maximum parking time is 12 hours (price up to € 3.30 per day)
